Simon Wilson and That Little Museum

Simon has been the most amazing person to us at That Little Museum, from inviting us down to his studio to see all his fantastic work to all the incredible bits he's donated to us, we are so grateful to him.

In March 2024, Simon started teaching Nicole Williams our museum manager how to taxidermy by practicing on a female meerkat what will eventually feature at That Little Museum along with a freeze dried baby meerkat on the side.

Simon showed us exactly how the wonder world of taxidermy is performed from skinning, tanning, making the armature and then stuffing.

Nearly all of our taxidermy specimens have been from Simon and he really is the best in the business and you know you are getting the highest quality and cruelty free pieces of art.

Specimens we own that have came from Simon including birds, skulls, animal skins, claws, some frozen animals for wet specimens.

Simon has played a massive part in all the work we do at That Little Museum along with all our other supporters who have helped us in different ways over the years.
