Curlyhair Tarantula Full Male - New Specimen

Published on 20 February 2024 at 21:38

Today has been a good day as we have been donated a full Curlyhair Tarantula male specimen.

This specimen was not in the best of conditions with legs broken off so we have decided to store it in this jar and he now sits in the middle of our bugs cabinet.

Native to Central America, from Honduras to Costa Rica, these tarantulas get their name because the hairs on it's body are actually curly.

They have a long lifespan for females, up to 20 years, but a much shorter one for males, who also have hooks on their front legs for mating.

Do you like our new specimen?
